Surgery With Your "Pet" In Mind: Compassionate Care When It Matters
The care and safety of our patients in Hermitage and surrounding communities are our utmost concern. From drop-off to recovery time at home, we take extensive measures to keep pets comfortable. After awakening from pet surgery, our patients are given an anti-nausea medication. CERENIA has been proven to lessen the side effects of recovery time, including helping get pets back to eating like normal.
Complete Safety Measures Included
Included in the price of every pet surgery is a full exam, pre-anesthetic blood-work, and an IV catheter to dose your pet with the correct amount of fluids. Furthermore, IV catheters prevent dehydration, thus making your pet’s recovery easier. If surgical candidates have any underlying medical concerns, we’re alerted to them when we run their blood-work. In most cases, pre-anesthetic blood-work works like a safeguard indicating to us how your loved one will react to anesthesia. During surgery, we closely monitor your pet's vital signs.
